Emerald Best Motel in Edmonds

Located very close to grocery shopping, coffee shops and restaurants. I've stayed here long-term while working as a traveling nurse and the staff is very attentive to my needs, room is always clean and I have a small kitchen which helps when I'm making meals. Great environment, quiet at night with friendly staff and guests are respectful.

For the cheapest room I could find in town it wasn’t a bad place to stay. They provide all the stuff a normal hotel would have. WiFi is good, shower gets hot and I didn’t wake up with bed bug bites. I got a full refund on my 100$ deposit which cost more than the actual room. It was nice enough, food and restaurants are nearby, they provide soap and a shampoo/conditioner. Have literally no complaints, nothing is the best but I wasn’t expecting the best, I just wanted a good enough place to sleep for a night and this place provided. Don’t compare this to a nice hotel hit it doesn’t pretend to be a nice hotel. It knows it’s a motel and as a motel it does a good job. Met all expectations. There are things outside of your control like other guests that may affect your experience but personally I lucked out and I slept hard with no problems. If I had to I’d stay here again.

Was good clean in the room and has a coffee maker in the room. This is a safe booking. Just remember people do smoke cigarettes outside their rooms so if you have kids and allergies etc (I smoke so I didn't care but someone else reading this may care)

10/10 highly recommend. It is cozy and quiet. The location is within walkable distance to WinCo, 99 Ranch Market, Starbucks, and Dick's. My only word of caution is to be mindful of entrance and exit because it is one-way. You will have to loop in the backlot.

Clean and renovated rooms with hot water and great working air. Room is clean and the staff is respectful and helpful. Gabe checked me in and he made the process smooth

It's a typical motel. We got a room with 2 queen sized beds for 2 nights. The room was larger than expected and pretty clean. It was a decent stay. A tad confusing to pull into from Hwy 99. My issue is the deposit. I was fine with having to put the stated $100 deposit¹ onto my credit card. The issue is they don't inform you about the extra $2.50 charge ($102.50 total charge) at the beginning of your stay. They also don't tell you it takes up to 5 business days to receive your deposit refund after check out until they've already charged your card. The $2.50 was kept by the motel. The guy at the front desk is not super friendly at all, bordering on an unapproachable demeanor, not rude thou. But he does what you'd expect, just no smiles and not friendly.

It's an older motel but my room was very nice. Recently renovated new paint flooring toilet. It has a small refrigerator and a microwave. I would stay here again.

One always wonders what a new place will be like when they make reservations online. One relies on what is listed about the place on the booking site and hope you aren't getting duped. As I drove by the entrance, without realizing I was driving by, I glanced towards the place, all I could see were a few rooms in a line. Didn't look all that inviting but having a reservation for the night I turned back around and checked in. To my surprise the check in process was super easy, front desk guy was friendly and welcoming. They have a lot of rules to staying there, which I get (but man they have a lot) and they take a deposit that you get back after check out if the room is still good. Upon going to my room I left the small office and turned the corner to a whole different section of the motel! 2 floors worth. Ample parking, clean parking lot. Little floor mats in front of each door. The door doesn't lock behind you like most motels, you have to manually lock it with the key. A small area set up for smokers with a table and chairs or maybe one just wants to drink their coffee outside. They have a nice little area behind the office for the staff to take breaks and have lunch I'm assuming as, as a guest one would have to walk through some landscape to sit in the chairs. The room was spacious with 2 beds that had bright red comforters and not the thin type. Plenty of soft towels with a few toileteries. Had a microwave and a nice size fridge (bigger inside than most I see), coffee maker, small tv, desk and chair. There were drawers under the tv if you wanted to unpack. Only one small trash can. Didn't have an ice bucket in the room so assumed they didn't have an ice machine, nor did I see one. Had an ottoman by the door to put your stuff on. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Room was exceptionally clean, cute, bright colors and welcoming, yeah I know sounds weird for a room. The place had quite a bit of travelers but for whatever reason it was really quiet. Right off Hwy 99 but yet didn't hear much traffic. Location was perfect for grocery stores, gym, fast food eateries.
